The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, entering the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as important members in House Halovar could assist the party enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Explorers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can look forward to learning which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
